Frequently asked questions

Everything about working with Codastra, planning and what happens after delivery. Is your question not listed? Feel free to ask.

Working together

How does the quotation process work?

We start with a non-binding conversation of about half an hour about what you want to achieve. You then receive a quote within a few business days covering scope, price and planning. It is valid for 30 days and commits you to nothing.

Which region do you work in, and do you come on site?

Codastra works for businesses in North Holland and the Randstad around Haarlem, roughly within 30 to 35 kilometres. Think of Haarlem, Amsterdam, Zaandam, Hoofddorp, Amstelveen, Alkmaar, Purmerend and Leiden, and nearby Heemstede, IJmuiden and Beverwijk. We can meet at your office or online, whichever suits you best.

What do you need from us to start?

A clear picture of the problem you want to solve and one contact person who can make decisions. Beyond that, some copy, imagery and access to the systems we integrate with. We tell you upfront exactly what we need, so the project does not stall.

Do you work with smaller companies?

Yes. Especially in smaller organisations, a well targeted automation often pays for itself within a few months. Start with a small assignment if you like: it works well as an introduction before committing to something larger.

Planning and technology

How long does a project take?

An automation is often finished within one to two weeks. A website usually takes three to six weeks, and custom software typically starts around six weeks, depending on scope. The quote includes a concrete schedule with interim deliveries, so you can see progress along the way.

Can you integrate with our existing systems?

In most cases, yes. If a package has an API or export option, we can connect to it. Think accounting, CRM, planning or inventory management. In the first conversation we look at which systems you use and what is technically possible.

After delivery

Who owns the code you build?

You do. Once all invoices are paid, all rights to the software transfer to your company, including the source code. You are never locked in to us. Any open source components used keep their own license terms.

What happens after delivery?

You get a 30 day warranty: defects demonstrably caused by our work are fixed free of charge. After that you can choose ad hoc further development on a time and materials basis, or a support agreement with a fixed monthly fee for maintenance and updates.

Codastra Orbit (CRM)

What is Codastra Orbit?

Orbit is the CRM we built ourselves. Every enquiry arrives in one place, your team gets the right tasks for each step and Orbit follows up automatically with emails and messages. Once all tasks of a step are done, the deal moves on by itself. So no lead sits waiting anymore.

What does Orbit cost and how do I start?

Orbit costs from €14 per month when billed annually. The launch, in which we fully set up your environment for you, is a one-off cost from €750 excl. VAT. You start with a free intro call, in which we look at your sales process together.
